OwnsteadPartner Program

Ownstead Partner Program

Know a manufacturer that needs a better ERP?

Refer them to Ownstead and earn up to $20,000+ per deal. You make the introduction; we do the consultation, the build and the support. You get paid when they become a customer.

Payouts depend on the customer's contract value and the terms of your signed Partner Agreement. Figures on this page are examples, not a promise of earnings.

How it works

Four steps. You only do the first two.

Apply

Five minutes. We'll set up a short call and send your Partner Agreement to sign.

Introduce

Submit the manufacturer below, with their OK to be contacted. It's registered to you for 12 months.

We take it from there

Free consultation and fit assessment, a fixed quote, then the build. We keep you posted.

Get paid

Your commission is paid within 30 days of each customer payment, as the customer pays.

Two ways to earn

Make the introduction, or help close the deal.

Referral Partner

10%

15% on the first five deals (launch bonus)

  • Introduce a qualified manufacturer who signs with us.
  • No selling required: a warm introduction is the job.
  • We run the consultation, quote and project.

Paid on the contract value of the customer's initial system.

Sales Partner

15–20%

For partners who actively sell

  • Work the opportunity with us: discovery, meetings, demos, follow-up.
  • Help bring the decision makers to a signed contract.
  • Your rate for the deal is agreed in writing before the work starts.

For experienced sellers: former ERP reps, consultants, industry pros.

What makes a great referral

A manufacturer outgrowing its software

  • About 50–500 people, often multi-process or multi-plant
  • On an aging ERP for years (Global Shop, older Epicor, JobBOSS), or QuickBooks and spreadsheets
  • Growing, acquiring, opening a plant, or fed up with rising subscription costs
  • Texas first; we'll talk about anywhere in the US

Why manufacturers say yes

Your contact gets a free consultation, an honest answer on fit, and a system they actually own.

They own it

Source code included. No required software subscription; hosting and support are optional.

Fitted to their floor

A proven core for quoting, production, inventory, quality and shipping, extended around how their shop works.

No risky cutover

Old and new systems run side by side until the numbers agree. AI-assisted migration moves their data.

Questions

Partner FAQ

How much can I earn?

Referral Partners earn 10% of the contract value of the customer's initial system. The first five referred customers to sign under the program earn 15%. Sales Partners who actively help close earn 15–20%, agreed in writing per deal. On a $175,000 system, 10% is $17,500. Actual payouts depend on each customer's contract value.

When do I get paid?

Within 30 days of each payment we receive from the customer, in proportion to what they've paid. If a customer's payment is refunded, the matching commission is adjusted.

What counts as a qualified referral?

A manufacturer that isn't already in conversation with us, where the contact has agreed to be introduced, and where we hold a first meeting with someone who can make the decision. You register it with the form above; it's credited to you for 12 months.

Do I have to sell anything?

No. As a Referral Partner your job is the warm introduction. If you'd like to help sell and close, talk to us about the Sales Partner rate.

What's included in the contract value?

The price of the customer's initial system. Taxes, hardware, and third-party costs (such as software accounts the customer buys from other providers) aren't included. Your Partner Agreement sets out the details.

Can I refer the company I work for, or a client I advise?

Not your own employer. If you advise a company in a professional role (for example as their accountant or consultant), you must tell them about your commission and follow your own professional rules; some professionals can't accept referral fees at all. Your agreement spells this out.

Is there a contract?

Yes, a simple Partner Agreement covering commissions, payment terms, what counts as a qualified referral, and how we represent Ownstead. You'll receive it after your intro call. Partners are independent contractors (a W-9 is required for payment in the US).

Can I use Ownstead's name and materials?

Yes, the approved flyer and descriptions we provide. Please don't make promises about features, prices or timelines; we'll answer those directly. Download the program flyer (PDF).
